Description

tick, tick, tick, tick, tick
it's almost
time for war.

Juliette has escaped to Omega Point. It is a place for people like her—people with gifts—and it is also the headquarters of the rebel resistance.

She's finally free from The Reestablishment, free from their plan to use her as a weapon, and free to love Adam. But Juliette will never be free from her lethal touch.

Or from Warner, who wants Juliette more than she ever thought possible.

In this exhilarating sequel to Shatter Me, Juliette has to make life-changing decisions between what she wants and what she thinks is right. Decisions that might involve choosing between her heart—and Adam's life.

My Thoughts

OH MY GOD!!! FANGIRL MOMENT RIGHT NOW, I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS BOOK! IT BLEW MY MIND!!!

Ok, now that my freakout is over I will actually tell you exactly why I loved this book. There are many reasons, one of them being that Tahereh Mafi is a genius at the written word and knows how to create characters and situations that tear your heart our and make you want to laugh and cry all at the same time.

Shatter Me was one of my favorite books of last year, and the sequel lived up to everything I had expected. There was character growth for both Juliette and Adam, they both had t deal with situations that were extremely difficult and I loved to watch them go through those tough times. Not only is Unravel Me about twice the size of Shatter Me, but it also deals with some very interesting topics that a lot of fans were nervous about. Like Juliette's feeling for Warner.

Now I will tell you that Warner plays a LARGE part in this book, his character get a lot of attention and I will admit that I was a little scared for this to happen because I really did not want a love triangle or anything of that sort. But I will tell you this. Not matter if you are a die hard Team Adam groupie, you WILL see Warner differently in this book. It is inevitable and amazing. It makes sense for the series as a whole and it makes for an amazing plot line.

There were many twists and surprises that revealed themselves throughout the books and I LOVED THAT! its an amazing feeling to be surprised and shocked when reading one of your favorite series. That's the mark of a great sequel. And of course I cannot end this review with saying something about CHAPTER 62. It was an emotional roller coaster and an amazing thing to read. Not only does it change the whole dynamic of the series, but it made sense, all of it made sense for the story. I was shocked while I was reading but by the end of the chapter I sat and thought...yes that made complete sense. For her character is made so much sense that I started to love that scene and what it represented not only for Juliette but for everyone she loved.

Overall I will say that this was one of the best sequels I have read...EVER and I hope that the story continues in this direction because right now it is amazing and I would not change a thing.

5/5 Stars
