Jude Ryder and Lucy Larson are this generation's Romeo and Juliet: Explosive. Sizzling. Tragic.

A steamy summer encounter with bad boy Jude means trouble for Lucy. Her sights are set on becoming a ballerina, and she won't let anything get in her way . . . except Jude.

He's got a rap sheet, dangerous mood swings, and a name that's been sighed, shouted, and cursed by who knows how many girls.

Jude's a cancer, the kind of guy who's fated to ruin the lives of girls like Lucy—and he tells her so.

But as rumors run rampant and reputations are destroyed, Lucy's not listening to Jude's warning. Is tragedy waiting in the wings? This racy romance is hot, hot, hot!

My Thoughts

The last few months I have been a little hesitant about reading a New Adult novel. although I do enjoy some good sexy times in novels, I always felt like this genre was too new to have any legs. BUT I picked up Crash thinking, why not? And I am actually glad I did.

Although the story and plot line was a little stretched and cliche I actually really enjoyed this novel. I wasn't expecting anything extraordinary from this book, but I will say that I found myself thinking about the book when I was working. I kept needing to read it, wanting to know what happened. I found myself routing for the main couple, even though everything in their lives wanted to tear them apart.

I found that Jude was a hard boy to like originally. He was cocky and messed up in a lot of things that would make any girl run for the hills. But not Lucy. There was something about Jude that stayed with her. What I loved was that Lucy was realistic. She sis not stick by him when he did something wrong, she left. She stopped seeing him and to me that felt like something that would actually happen. Sometimes when I read contemporary fiction it seems like the heroine doesn't think rationally ever, so this was a nice change.

This book was very entertaining and very fun to read. There were some sexy times :) and some very heartbreaking moments and I have to say, I will be picking up the next book, Clash soon!
