Remington Tate has a bad-boy rep in and out of the ring, a granite-hard body, and a raw, animal power that sends his female fans into a frenzy. But from the moment their eyes lock, the only woman he wants is Brooke Dumas. His desire is pure, all-consuming, and REAL.
Hired to keep his perfect body working like a machine, Brooke finally has the lucrative sports therapy job she's been dreaming of. But as she tours the dangerous underground fighting circuit with Remy and his team, Brooke's own body becomes alive with the most primal of hungers. If what happens between Brooke and Remy is ever as light as a flirtation, it quickly becomes an erotic obsession for them both, and promises so much more.
But their white-hot lust has a dark side—and when Remy's deepest secret comes to light and Brooke's familial duties demand action, will the pair be able to hang on, or will everything that once seemed so real suddenly fade away like an illusion?
I am a sucker for a story that had to do with MMA fighting, which i find really interesting considering that i do not watch MMA fights in real life. But for some reason reading about a guys with so much anger and rage that takes it out in the ring gets me every time.
Real is about Brooke who goes to a MMA fight with her best friend and them meets Remmington Tate, a fighter who changes her life forever. It is a deal she makes that fateful night that will cause these two characters on a course for romance, passion and pain.
This book was amazing to me, the passion between these two character was amazing to read. This book was steamy and sexy in all the places. And I think what I liked the most about this book was that the issues that held each character back were real and justifiable, unlike some New Adult books out there right now, where it seems like hormones are the true culprit. In Real, I found that I wanted everything to work out, I wanted there to be a happily every after at the end. I wanted these characters to feel loved and I think that is something that every author strives for, wanting their readers to feel connected to their characters and I certainly did feel a connection.
If you love passion, sexy scenes and MMA fighters then this book is for you. Katy Evans has a way of pulling you from the moment you start reading and she doesn't let you go until the final page is done. Amazing.
