Virginity.

Bliss Edwards is about to graduate from college and still has hers. Sick of being the only virgin among her friends, she decides the best way to deal with the problem is to lose it as quickly and simply as possible-- a one-night stand. But her plan turns out to be anything but simple when she freaks out and leaves a gorgeous guy alone and naked in her bed with an excuse that no one with half-a-brain would ever believe. And as if that weren’t embarrassing enough, when she arrives for her first class of her last college semester, she recognizes her new theatre professor. She’d left him naked in her bed about 8 hours earlier.

What i think i love the most about the New Adult genre is that is has so many different representations and it can be very sweet and very sexy and everything in between. And I loved reading Losing it because it was incredibly sweet and I loved the change of pace.

Losing it follows Bliss who meets a mystery man at a bar and takes him home, but when they get there she panics and sends him on his way. Only to discover that he is her new professor at school. It is only then that things get interesting. I loved this story line because Bliss was a hilarious character. She was young, naive, and very clumsy when it comes to sexual experiences. It was refreshing to see a female character who, although did not have a lot of experience in bed, still had confidence and the right state of mind when it comes to pressures from others.

What i think I liked the most was that Garrick was British (which lets face it, makes everything better) and it was that aspect of him that made him so likable for me. It as the mannerisms and the way he carried himself that made me like him a a male hero in this book. And his dialogue with Bliss was great to read.

If you are looking for some hot sex scenes, this book is not for you. But if you are looking for memorable character, great sexual tension and a story to match then pick up this book. It will not disappoint.
