What happens when a girl who always calls the shots meets a guy who's too wild for even her?

A born flirt and good-time party girl, Emerson has never had a problem finding a willing guy. She's always chosen her hookups carefully, and she's never broken her three cardinal rules:

Never let them see the real you.
Never fall in love.
Always leave them begging for more.

Then Shaw comes along. A hottie from the wrong side of the tracks, he's immune to her flirtatious banter and come-hither smile. After rescuing her from a disastrous night at a biker bar, he doesn't even try to take her to bed—he calls her a tease and sends her home instead. Unable to resist a challenge, or forget the sexy, dark-eyed, bad-boy biker, she vows to bring him to his knees.

But instead of making Shaw beg, Emerson finds herself craving him. For the first time in her life, she's throwing out her rule book. Suddenly, she's the one panting for a guy she can't control—a guy who won't settle for anything less than the real Emerson and who forces her to do things she's never imagined, including facing a past she thought she'd buried.

A guy who just might leave her wanting more. . . .

What can I say about this book...well its by Sophie Jordan so that is already a plus for me because I LOVED Foreplay and all the characters I met in that book. And also this book is part of the same series as Foreplay so I got to see all the same character, including Reese and Pepper, which was a huge plus because I loved them so much!

Tease is a New Adult novel, and I have to say that Sophie Jordan has quickly become one of my favorite authors in this genre, because I think she encapsulates exactly what young people in college are feeling, and the experiences they have. And she is quite good at write boys, very good at writing boys ;) Tease follows one of Peppers friends, Emerson, who is known around campus as a tease. She flirts with lots of boys and is know to be a bit easy when she has a few drinks. Then she meets Shaw, of Shaw how I love him. Shaw sees through Emerson's shield and realizes that she isn't the person everyone thinks she is. Emerson has never liked a boy the way she liked Shaw so the dynamic of these two characters is great because they are polar opposite if each other, yet they seem to complete each other in ways they never expected.

Emerson was a great character to narrate this novel because she was so much like all girls when they go to college. They want everyone to think they are one thing so that they don't really see who they are. I related a lot to this, and I think a lot of readers will too. Emerson was extremely sarcastic, which is a favourite trait for me, and I think I liked her more than I liked Pepper in Foreplay (which is saying a lot!). Emerson just seemed more in tuned with what was going on around her and not afraid to speak her mind, on certain things, and I loved that quality in her.

Shaw. How I adored this boy, he was such a great character to fall in love with because he had such a hard exterior and yet he was the complete opposite in real life. He is such a sweetie and I fell for him well before Emerson ever did. I liked Shaw with Emerson because he fit well with her personality. She was all about spewing BS in the beginning and he would have none of it. Their banter was great to read and I loved watching their relationship grow, especially near the end when we realize what Emerson was really holding back.

Although the overall story was a bit cliched I loved every second of this novel. I never wanted it to end. I loved these characters, I love this author and I love this series more than I ever thought I would. I seriously cannot wait for the next book in The Ivy Chronicles, Wild to comes out in November! I want to know all about what happened to Georgia!
