WORMHOLE TO WONDERLAND
The year is 2114. Alice is one of the elite humans chosen to repopulate a New Earth, traveling onboard the Starship Jabberwocky, to Kepler-22b a planet six hundred light years from Earth in the Cygnus Constellation. The Originators blended her DNA with that of famous authors to produce a perfect human, each with a specific job needed to make their new home habitable. Humans are flawed by nature. Alice’s creative and curious character isn’t something they planned. She longs for adventure far beyond the confines of her plastic, metal and glass world and doesn’t fit their drone mold. When flashes of disturbing images clog her memories, Alice is desperate to do anything, to go anywhere, to find the answers. Even if it means losing her mind.

But when she falls down a proverbial rabbit hole, landing in the midst of the largest peace-and-music event in history, Alice must confront the question that’s been eating at her all summer: if she isn’t a musician, who is she?

Now for a bit of fun!

As part of this reveal each blogger asked a birthday themed question! And then in turn every author answered that question so here are my answers! My question was: What is the worst themed birthday party you have ever been to and why?

Cady Vance
Clowns. It was actually my own birthday party when I was a kid, but I am terrified of clowns. There was even an actual creepy clown on site doing balloon animals. As you can imagine, this did not go over very well.

Denise Jaden
The worst themed birthday party was one I held for my son: Part Ironman, partStar Wars. The combination didn’t make any sense, but I had used whatever décor and party supplies I had on hand that year. Thankfully, the kids were too young to care much about it!

Shari Green
Clowns! *shudders* Clowns are not a party theme, people—they’re a nightmare waiting to happen!

Dawn Dalton
There were clowns. DOZENS of clowns. And it wasn’t even Halloween. Why? * shudder *

Kitty Keswick
I had a grim reaper theme for one of my “landmark” birthdays. It wasn’t my first choice for a celebration. The cake had this black and grey frosting and it tasted horrible. I appreciated the sentiment but it was horrid.
