#WinterWishList2014 Book Feature #10

Tuesday, December 10, 2013

This is a brand new segment I am starting where I feature a book a day, in the month of December, that I am looking forward to in 2014. It can be any book from any genre, from any author or publisher!

This is a great way for me to help you make you TBR pile bigger! And to share the books I cannot wait to read! Hope you enjoy!

TODAY'S FEATURE:
Title: Uninvited
Author: Sophie Jordan
Series: Uninvited #1
Publisher: HarperTeen
Release Date:  January 28th 2014

When Davy Hamilton's tests come back positive for Homicidal Tendency Syndrome (HTS)-aka the kill gene-she loses everything. Her boyfriend ditches her, her parents are scared of her, and she can forget about her bright future at Juilliard. Davy doesn't feel any different, but genes don't lie. One day she will kill someone.

Only Sean, a fellow HTS carrier, can relate to her new life. Davy wants to trust him; maybe he's not as dangerous as he seems. Or maybe Davy is just as deadly.

The first in a two-book series, Uninvited tackles intriguing questions about free will, identity, and human nature. Steeped in New York Times bestselling author Sophie Jordan's trademark mix of gripping action and breathless romance, this suspenseful tale is perfect for fans of James Patterson, Michelle Hodkin, and Lisa McMann.

REASON I CAN'T WAIT

I love Sophie Jordan, I have since I read her Firelight series, and her New Adult book Foreplay (Which you should all read cause its amazing!) But this book sounds amazing because it sounds so different from a lot of books out there right now AND it Sci-Fi, which is a no braining for me to pick up and read. Sophie has a way of captivating readers into any story she writes and her characters are amazing and stay with you well after you are done reading, so I cannot wait to start this new series and fall in love with more amazing characters!

Do you have this book on your wish list for 2014? Why can't you wait for it?

  1. I've never read a Sophie Jordan book (although I'm dying to read her dragon series because DRAGONS). But this book is definitely on my list. It sounds really interesting AND I love the way her hair turns into DNA strands on the cover
